Unexpected Meal is committed to delivering premium ingredients and ready-to-enjoy meals with care and freshness. Please review the following shipping and delivery information before placing your order.

- Shipping Rates

We offer nationwide shipping within the United States.

Shipping rates are calculated based on your order and delivery address, and will be displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.

From time to time, we may offer free or discounted shipping as part of a limited promotion — any active offer will be clearly shown at checkout or on our website.

전 미국 내 배송을 제공합니다.

배송비는 주문 내역과 배송지 주소에 따라 계산되며, 결제 전 체크아웃 화면에 표시됩니다.

프로모션 기간에는 무료 또는 할인 배송을 제공할 수 있으며, 진행 중인 프로모션은 체크아웃 또는 웹사이트에 안내됩니다.

Additional shipping fees may apply for select delivery areas designated as Priority Service Only.

일부 Priority Service 전용 배송 지역은 추가 배송비가 발생할 수 있습니다.

- Room-Temperature & Frozen Order Minimums

Orders containing only room-temperature (shelf-stable) items ship for a flat $9 fee.

If your order combines frozen items with a large quantity of room-temperature items, an additional $9 handling fee may apply for separate processing. If this applies to your order, we will contact you directly after checkout.

We recommend ordering $199 or more in frozen items per shipment. Frozen items hold their cold chain better when packed tightly together, and smaller frozen orders are more likely to arrive partially thawed. We are not able to take responsibility for thawing that results from a frozen order under $199.

실온(상온 보관) 제품만 담긴 주문은 배송비로 플랫 $9가 적용됩니다.

냉동 제품과 실온 제품을 함께 주문하셨는데 실온 비중이 큰 경우, 별도 처리를 위해 추가 배송비 $9가 청구될 수 있습니다. 해당되는 경우 결제 완료 후 저희가 직접 연락드립니다.

냉동 제품은 $199 이상 주문하시는 것을 권장드립니다. 냉동 제품은 서로 붙어서 포장될수록 냉기를 더 잘 유지하며, 소량 주문일수록 부분 해동 위험이 높아집니다. $199 미만으로 주문하신 냉동 제품에서 발생하는 해동 문제에 대해서는 책임지기 어렵습니다.

- Order Processing & Shipping Time

Orders are carefully packed and prepared to maintain product quality.

We currently ship Monday through Wednesday only. Orders placed before the Wednesday 9:00 AM cutoff (Pacific Time; PDT or PST depending on daylight saving) ship that same week; orders placed after the Wednesday 9:00 AM cutoff ship the following Monday, in sequential order. This cutoff applies to orders containing frozen or refrigerated items.

Once your order ships, delivery timing is handled by the shipping carrier (UPS/FedEx) and is outside of our control. Carrier delays can occasionally add an extra 1-2 days beyond the standard delivery estimate. If your tracking shows a delay or any issue, please contact us right away so we can help.

We'll email you on the morning your order ships, and again separately once your tracking number is available. Please check your email closely during this time; we're not responsible for issues that result from not checking your email.

All temperature-sensitive products are packed using insulated packaging and cold-chain materials designed to maintain freshness during transit.

현재 배송은 월요일~수요일에만 진행됩니다. 수요일 오전 9시(태평양 표준시 기준, 서머타임 여부에 따라 PDT/PST) 이전에 접수된 주문은 해당 주에 발송되며, 이후에 접수된 주문은 다음 주 월요일부터 순차적으로 발송됩니다. 이 컷오프는 냉동/냉장 제품이 포함된 주문에 적용됩니다.

발송이 완료된 이후의 배송 소요 시간은 배송업체(UPS/FedEx)가 담당하며, 이는 저희가 통제할 수 없는 영역입니다. 배송업체 사정으로 기존 예상 배송일보다 1~2일 정도 추가 지연될 수 있습니다. 트래킹에서 지연이나 이슈가 확인되시면 바로 연락 주시면 도와드리겠습니다.

발송일 아침에 이메일을 보내드리고, 트래킹 번호가 확정되면 별도로 다시 안내 이메일을 보내드립니다. 이 기간 동안 이메일을 꼭 확인해 주시기 바라며, 이메일 미확인으로 인해 발생하는 문제에 대해서는 책임지지 않습니다.

온도에 민감한 제품은 신선도 유지를 위해 보냉재와 콜드체인 포장재로 포장됩니다.

- Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled free of charge within 48 hours of being placed, provided the order has not yet been fulfilled.

After 48 hours, a 20% cancellation fee applies. This fee covers restocking, materials, and freight costs incurred while preparing your order.

주문은 접수 후 48시간 이내(단, 아직 발송(Fulfill) 처리가 되지 않은 경우에 한함)에는 무료로 취소하실 수 있습니다.

48시간 경과 후에는 20%의 취소 수수료가 부과됩니다. 이 수수료에는 재입고 비용, 자재비, 주문 준비 과정에서 발생한 운송비가 포함됩니다.

- Delivery & Pickup Scheduling

Delivery and pickup dates may be adjusted depending on product arrival schedules and stock availability. If an adjustment is necessary, we will notify you in advance.

배송 및 픽업 일정은 제품 입고 일정 및 재고 상황에 따라 조정될 수 있습니다. 일정 조정이 필요한 경우 사전에 안내해 드립니다.

If you have specific dates when you will be unavailable to receive your order, please let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.

수령이 어려운 날짜가 있으신 경우 미리 알려주시면 최대한 반영해드리겠습니다.

- Perishable Product Notice

Our products include frozen and fresh items that require temperature-controlled shipping.

While we use professional cold-chain packaging and expedited shipping methods, temperature changes during transit may occur. As a result, some items may partially thaw during delivery.

By placing an order, customers acknowledge and accept the nature of shipping perishable products and understand that partial thawing may occur during transit.

전문 콜드체인 포장재와 신속 배송 방식을 사용하지만, 배송 중 온도 변화가 발생할 수 있으며 이로 인해 일부 제품이 부분 해동될 수 있습니다.

주문 시 고객님은 신선·냉동 식품 배송의 특성을 이해하고, 배송 중 부분 해동이 발생할 수 있음에 동의하시는 것으로 간주됩니다.

- Local Pickup

Customers may choose local pickup at one of the following locations:

Pickup available locations (schedule announced monthly): Buena Park, Irvine, Koreatown (Los Angeles), Torrance, and El Monte. Exact dates and times for each location are posted on our website and included in your pickup confirmation email. El Monte also offers standing weekday pickup, Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM.

Once your order is ready for pickup, an email notification will be sent with pickup instructions.

Please wait for the pickup confirmation email before arriving.

If you need to reschedule or adjust your pickup, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance so we can coordinate.

로컬 픽업 이용 시 아래 장소 중 한 곳에서 직접 수령하실 수 있습니다.

픽업 가능 장소 (매월 일정 공지): 부에나팍(Buena Park), 얼바인(Irvine), 한인타운(Koreatown, LA), 토렌스(Torrance), 엘몬테(El Monte). 각 지역의 정확한 날짜와 시간은 매월 웹사이트에 공지되며, 픽업 확인 이메일에도 안내됩니다. 엘몬테는 이와 별도로 상시 평일 픽업도 가능합니다 (월–금, 오전 9:30 – 오후 5:30).

픽업 준비가 완료되면 픽업 안내 이메일을 보내드립니다.

이메일을 받으신 후 방문해 주세요.

픽업 일정 변경 또는 조율이 필요하신 경우, 최소 48시간 전에 미리 연락 부탁드립니다.

- Delivery Responsibility

Fresh and frozen products are shipped via next-day delivery by default. Packages may be left in a mailbox, delivery locker, or at the door depending on the carrier and delivery method.

Customers are responsible for checking their delivery window and promptly retrieving the package once it has been delivered.

Unexpected Meal is not responsible for packages left unattended after delivery, or for quality issues resulting from delayed retrieval.

신선 및 냉동 제품은 기본적으로 익일 배송(Next-Day Delivery)으로 발송됩니다. 배송업체 및 배송 방식에 따라 우편함, 택배 보관함(락커), 또는 문 앞에 배송될 수 있습니다.

고객님은 배송 예정 시간(딜리버리 윈도우)을 확인하시고, 배송 완료 후 신속하게 수령하실 책임이 있습니다.

Unexpected Meal은 배송 후 방치된 패키지, 또는 수령 지연으로 인한 품질 문제에 대해서는 책임지지 않습니다.

- Delivery & Pickup Confirmation

For shipped orders, delivery is considered complete at the time the shipping carrier's tracking shows the package as "Delivered."

For local delivery orders, delivery is considered complete once the delivery has been marked as completed.

For local pickup orders, the order is considered complete once pickup has been completed at the applicable pickup location.

Any concerns regarding your order (such as damage, missing items, or quality issues) must be reported within 24 hours of the applicable delivery or pickup completion time above. Claims submitted after this window may not be eligible for resolution.

배송 주문의 경우, 배송업체의 트래킹에서 "Delivered(배송완료)"로 표시되는 시점을 배송 완료 시점으로 간주합니다.

로컬 딜리버리 주문의 경우, 배송이 완료 처리된 시점을 배송 완료 시점으로 간주합니다.

로컬 픽업 주문의 경우, 각 픽업 장소에서 픽업이 완료된 시점을 주문 완료 시점으로 간주합니다.

주문 관련 문제(파손, 누락, 품질 이슈 등)는 위 배송·픽업 완료 시점으로부터 24시간 이내에 접수해 주셔야 하며, 이 기간이 지난 이후 접수된 건에 대해서는 처리가 어려울 수 있습니다.
