Return Policy for Non-Food Items

We accept returns on eligible non-perishable items within 2 days of delivery. Items must be unused, in original packaging, and include proof of purchase.

- Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns on:

Perishable goods (e.g. food)

Sale items or gift cards

Personal care items, hazardous materials, flammables

Custom or personalized products

Because our store sells frozen and perishable food products, all food sales are final and cannot be returned once shipped.

- Damaged or Wrong Items

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If it arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact info@unexpectedmeal.com within 2 days with photos and your order number so we can help.

- Refunds

Once your return is received and approved, weโ€™ll issue a refund to your original payment method within 10 business days. If itโ€™s been over 15 business days, please contact us.

- Perishable Product Notice

Our store sells frozen and temperature-sensitive products. While we use insulated packaging and cold-chain shipping methods, some products may partially thaw during transit.

By placing an order, customers acknowledge and accept the nature of shipping perishable products.

- Delivery Responsibility

Customers are responsible for ensuring that someone is available to receive packages upon delivery. Unexpected Meal is not responsible for packages that are left unattended after delivery.

- Shipping Carrier Delays

Once an order has been shipped, delivery times are the responsibility of the shipping carrier. Unexpected Meal is not responsible for delays caused by weather, carrier disruptions, or other factors outside our control.

- Chargeback Policy

Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card provider, please contact us at info@unexpectedmeal.com so we can review and resolve the issue.

Filing a chargeback without first contacting our support team may delay the resolution process. We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks when our return, refund, and shipping policies have been followed.
